I wandered over to Silver Spring yesterday for the DC Record Fair to find The Fillmore packed to the brim with vinyls. It was awesome to flip through the endless amounts of boxes and be reminded of the varying types of musical tastes I had growing up and even what I (still) listen to now. I added Diana Ross & The Supremes alongside a greatest hits of the Jackson 5 to my slowly growing vinyl collection, but there’s no record player here in the office, so listening to them doesn’t happen during the hours of 9 to 5.

And anyway, it’s a somewhat gloomy day in DC today; clouds rolling over, scattered raindrops here and there, but the sky holding back against a outright pour, meaning it’s a day for Sade, so sit back, relax and let her be your friend.
